Using the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) framework for sustainability reporting and the participation of academic institutions, NGOs and companies, Zumer is organizing corporate performance on over 79 indicators as standardized by the GRI.

Zumer is a collaborative undertaking that strives be the world's most comprehensive, accessible and up to date source of corporate social responsibility information.

Zumer is a consumer oriented website that provides rankings on consumer brands, products and companies based on individuals' personal preferences and user contributed research and ratings.

We've employed a collaborative strategy of partnering with business schools who integrate sustainability concepts into their curriculum. Zumer can be used as a teaching tool to familiarize students with concepts such as:

  • Non-financial reporting and the Global Reporting Initiative
  • Strategic importance of sustainable business practices
  • Innovative ways to engage stakeholders
  • Communicating sustainability performance to customers

Zumer has been incorporated into business curriculum at seven universities (the University of Victoria, Royal Roads University, Morgan State University, University of Calgary, George Washington, EGADE at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and UCLA) with over 600 students contributing research on over 500 companies.
